Beijing is not the only place for big events this week. On 08.08.’08 Nike will open the “0808“ Store in Berlin, Germany to celebrate the international presentation of the Nike Sportswear Collection.

The Nike Icons are the corner stones of the new “0808“ stores. Selected styles from all 36 years of Nike history are presented on 140 sqm of shopping space: Timeless classics have been re-interpreted and equipped with new high tech features to form the Nike Sportswear Collection. All styles have one thing in common: The went down in sports history and have been rare collectibles ever since.

Designed for Sport. Remastered for Life. Those are the basic priciples for Nike Sportswear: Designed for athletes and highest demands and re-interpreted for the urban lifestyle market.

After two months of display the Nike Sportswear collection will continue its presence in the new “Kickz“ Flagship Store that will move into the same location.

In addition to Berlin there will be eight more “0808“ Stores opening their doors in Johannesburg, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Moscow, Paris, Rome, Barcelona and London.
