as you know, in 2007 nike is celebrating the 25th aniversary of the legendary air force 1 with the appropriate pizzazz. of course, the unnh! was asked to host this exclusive gig in munich, germany. last week, 500 selected heads from the world of basketball and hip hop were invited to munich’s hottest spot, baby (http://babymunich.com), where dj benny bianco (muc), dj katch (fm), dj rodney hunter & mc shadee (aphrodelics, viella) rocked the crowd ’til the breaka breaka dawn.

unnh! was proud to select the “munich six”, who were asked to customize their own personalized af1 prior to the jam. the “munich six” were nominated for outstanding achievement in basketball and/or hip hop in bavaria’s capital. and the af1 went to: nica gemo (1st league, mtsv schwabing), alex lacher (publisher of “five” and “juice” magazine), ralf junge (coach, urspring academy), dj scream (der neue sueden), arpad losoczy (legend) and maurice stuckey (germany’s got next phenom).
